The Bryder laboratory (http://cancercenter.gu.se/research/david-bryder) invites applications as a postdoctoral researcher at the Sahlgrenska Cancer Centre, Gothenburg, Sweden.

We focus on trying to understand the formation of blood cells in both normal and malignant (leukemic) contexts. The fellow will work on new and ongoing projects and the work will involve analysis of several different types of next-generation sequencing data, including but not limited to single-cell RNA-sequencing data, genomic DNA sequencing and applications involving design and assessment of CRISPR/Cas9-based genome-editing strategies. Involvement in sample preparation and teaching/supervision of students is also possible, depending on the interests of the candidate.

Successful candidates should be proficient in bioinformatics and statistics, including some prior background in analysis of NGS data. Good spoken and written English is required.

If you are interested in the position, you can also make an informal enquiry to David Bryder, david.bryder@gu.se - well aware of the limitations with the formal announcement (link below).
