I have strong interest in developing skills in bioinformatics. So far I am self taught, this leaves me with incomplete knowledge and not being able to solve problems. Please can someone suggest a good short course or workshop that can help me improve my skill in bioinformatics?

Thanks

Two training programs are already mentioned above,

I recommend you follow practical training sources: 1.Biostars handbook (https://www.biostarhandbook.com/)

  1. Computational Exome and Genome Analysis Peter N. Robinson, Rosario Michael Piro, Marten Jager (https://www.crcpress.com/Computational-Exome-and-Genome-Analysis/Robinson-Piro-Jager/p/book/9781498775984)

  2. Bioconductor for Genomic Data Science (https://kasperdanielhansen.github.io/genbioconductor/)

If you are still interested, contact someone with actual project and learn while doing.
