We are seeking potential candidates to work as a statistical analyst and database manager for research studies performed by faculty of the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, & Renal Transplantation at the Department of Medicine, at University of Florida and PRISMA-P research group. Ideal candidate will have PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics and some previous experience through PhD program or work. Knowledge of R and SAS is required.
The job involves below components:
- Write data handling programs that best facilitate data linkage, transfers, and analysis.
- Identify methodological approaches and build statistical models for data analysis.
- Provide technical support in multiple statistical programming languages (SAS and R, and Python and Bioconductor are plus)
- Collaborate on new statistical and programming methods and techniques
- Design and execution of tables, charts and figures for academic presentations and manuscripts.
The training environment is collaborative and will provide employee with opportunities to learn from experts from various backgrounds and publish in academic journals.
