I have two gene list. List1 with known disease gene; List2 with predictive disease causing genes. IS there any way by looking at interaction among these 2 gene list, I can short list my candidate genes?

Depends on what sort of interaction you're looking for (protein:protein, in a shared pathway, etc.). You'll need to provide us with more details.

Hi Devon,

i am mainly interested in studying protein protein interaction. Is there there any tool to look for shared pathway by the gene? Can you please let me how to do this also. This will add to my knowledge.

For finding genes in the same pathway, there probably are tools but I'd have to search to find them. It'd be easy enough to do that in R using the KEGG or reactome (or similar) databases. For protein:protein interactions, there may be tools for that too (I've never needed to do it, just google around). There are a number of databases to use for this, such as string.

You could also try developing a co-expression network between the two lists.
