How to retrieve sequence of one single protein across different taxa/organisms?

Are there any better alternatives to NCBI/Entrez to retrieve the sequence of a given protein X in other organisms? I'm using NCBI to get the sequence of mitochondrial ribosomal protein L47 but if I query the database based on protein name only, I get the hits that follow this nomenclature ("mitochondrial ribosomal protein L47") but miss hits like "ribosomal protein L47, mitochondrial" (for example). If I query based on all fields, then I get protein sequences that do not correspond to protein L47 .... Any tips on this?

Searching via Identical protein groups database appears to be better.
