Currently looking for advice on the best way to collect orthology data for E. Coli. I haven't used OMA before but the goal is to basically acquire a gene list for all E. Coli strains then map those genes to Orthology IDs. I downloaded the AllAll data from OMA for the E. Coli strains but there's a lot available in the download and I'm having some difficulties dissecting through the info. Does OMA provide simply a way to collect a gene list and the corresponding orthology groups? If this info isn't already available I don't mind carrying out the necessary steps of course, but just need to be pointed in the right direction.
