STRait Razor is a free open source sequence-based STR analysis program available from UNT: https://www.unthsc.edu/graduate-school-of-biomedical-sciences/molecular-and-medical-genetics/laboratory-faculty-and-staff/strait-razor/ Download from Github: https://github.com/Ahhgust/STRaitRazor. I'm not sure which labs are using it.
