Looking for someone with experience in basic manipulation of BAM files to help on an immediate basis (e.g., today through this weekend). This could include "tutoring" and/or remoting in via TeamViewer to help with the files. The initial task includes extracting reads from large whole genome BAM files that overlap with certain regions and saving these into separate BAM/SAM files. This could/will include other needs over the next few weeks.
Hourly rate to be determined - feel free to PM me an offer. Note: I have no experience compiling Linux toolkits such as SAM Tools and don't have the time in the short term to learn on my own, hence my post. Preference for use of a Windows environment.
