Hi,

I have a question about RNA seq data:

  1. How much the best standard deviation for the mapping data?
  2. How can i say my mapping data in RNA seq is normal distribution?
  3. In normalization of mapping data, what is the mean of the reference (Median Mean, median median,....)?
  4. In normalization of mapping data, , which methods for RNA seq is the best choice? Scaling or quantile or by totals?

Thank you!

Standard deviation for what? The insert size? Nothing even uses that any more (don't waste your time with inferior tools like CLC when you can use better platforms for free).
