Hi

I have an query regarding the selection of statistical test for my data. If my data is not normally distributed (i.e. p-value<0.05) and also assumption for homogenity of variance is met (p-value<0.05), what type of statistical test should I select, parametric or non-parametric.? For non-parametric test , as we know data should be non-normally distributed but what about homogenity of variance, there should be equality of variance or it should be violated?

statistical analysis for the data

Please select a more specific title for your thread. In addition, it appears this question is not primarily related to bioinformatics but rather pure statistics, in which case it would be better suited for CrossValidated
