News:New International MScProgram: Data Science and Information Technologies (DSIT) from the University of Athens [New Application Deadline 6 Aug 18]

Colleagues informed me about a new MSc program from the University of Athens that is open to international applicants and it is taught in English. I am an alumnus of the program and I used to teach also there while being in Greece.

The DSIT Graduate Program is organized and administered by the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), in collaboration with the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) and the ATHENA Research and Innovation Center. The courses are taught by Professors and Researchers of the above institutions with experience in the Program's fields of study, by PhD scientists of other institutions in Greece and abroad, as well as by experienced industry specialists.

The DSIT program awards Masters of Science (M.Sc) degrees in two specializations:

• Big Data and Artificial Intelligence
• Bioinformatics - Biomedical Data Science

Applications for the new Postgraduate Program "Data Science and Information Technologies (DSIT)" that are starting from next academic year 2018-19 should be received by the 6th of August 2018. [Application Deadline has been updated]

1. The Application Form
2. Curriculum vitae
3. Certified Copy of the first Degree, Certified first d egree Transcripts, or current transcript of courses completed so far (if the first degree of studies has not been completed)
4. Publications to scientific journals and conferences (if available)
5. Evidence of professional or research experience (if available)
6. Photocopy of the Identification Card (Passport for international students)
7. Two letters of recommendation
8. Certificate of English language proficiency, level C1
9. Work experience certificate( if available).
