Hi. I'm looking for an explanation of the term FGE as a map type. i'm currently working on the data base glycosciences.de on the GlycoMaps tool, and I can't understand the meaning of the map type: GFE. I have searched for it but couldn't find an explanation. Thanx in advance, Ben.

formylglycine (fGly) generating enzyme, which you can find my googling "glycosciences FGE" and clicking on a couple links.

BTW, you mean glycosciences.de, the site you mentioned is password protected.

I’ve googled it too, but I still need a further explanation of the term and what exactly formylglycine (fGly) generating enzyme means regarding the map type.

Hi, there is some suspicious voting pattern that I see here. Your question is not sophisticated or comprehensive enough, nor is your comment significant enough to warrant the number of upvotes you're getting, not organically at least. Are you by any chance asking colleagues to upvote your question/comments for visibility? Such behavior is not allowed, please stop it if that is indeed what you're doing.

They're all interested in this question (we all need the answer)... Is this a problem? Should i tell them to downvote?

Not downvote, just don't vote. To achieve that, ask them to remove their votes. Is this an assignment question/something for class?
