We are currently seeking for Senior and Junior Bioinformaticians to join the centre.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline, and possess the ability to use programming languages such as R, Python, Perl, Java, or related languages. Having experience in analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing data will be desirable. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills and have a strong interest in working closely with investigators. Applicants with less experience/qualifications (such as Masters' degree) but with a good initiative will also be considered.
The appointee will have the unique opportunity to participate in world-class research, work with clinicians, biologists and bioinformatics experts, expose to a wide range of applications and interpret data generated from cutting edge new generation of sequencers such as NovaSeq and Sequel. He/She will learn and apply cutting edge bioinformatics analytics for clinical next generation sequencing data. He/She will also be involved in developing, evaluating and executing both existing and new methods for this analysis.
