Unfortunately, legacy BLAST appears to no longer be supported by NCBI as of 9/13/2018.

A number of different sequence analysis packages/software require legacy BLAST support. Specifically, I am trying to use CS-BLAST which requires blastpgp, the legacy PSI-BLAST.
I've tried to incorporate the legacy_blast.pl script into CS-BLAST, but I haven't been able to reformat the checkpoint files for incorporation into PSI-BLAST+ without ripping open more source code than I'm comfortable with.
Does anyone know of a hosted legacy BLAST download? Or is anyone capable of hosting?
Alternatively, a CS-BLAST-like program that works with BLAST+?

Are you referring to this program - CS-BLAST ? It does not mention legacy blast as a dependency?
