Use sms2 javascript standalone from python

Hello everyone ! I wish to use tools from sms2 but the standalone version is made of javascripts. How can I use those in python ? I'm on linux and only know bash and python basics

Probably BioPython implements most of the functionalities provided by SMS2, it would be both easier for you to learn BioPython, and saner too.

I don't see the standalone option on the site? (I may be being blind) - unless you mean the offline mirror?

The best you could do to my knowledge would be to write a python invocation wrapper script, but that doesn't really save you any effort.

FWIW, pretty much all of the functionality on that webpage has been recreated in python and other languages natively.
