I currently have a fasta file of three prime UTRs, and I need to convert it to a fasta file of protein sequences for the associated genes. Is there a tool that can help with this?

Is there any reason why the 3' UTRs are fully unassociated with any gene?

Blast the 3'UTR on ENSEMBL website. Then take the gene id found and extract the protein sequence in ENSEMBL biomart.

The species I'm working with isn't in ENSEMBL, but I could probably do the same thing through NCBI.
