Hello Everyone,

Does anybody know if it is possible to get STRING data base ids using Uniprot.ws package in R? When checking for available columns() I do not see anything similar to STRING or STRING_ID, but may be it is hiding under some other names or is there another way to get them?

Thank you a lot for helping!

Best regards, Ivan

You can use the Ensemble protein ids form UniProt to fetch STRING DB data.

Example UniProt KB links: https://string-db.org/network/9606.ENSP00000265724

9606 is the organism id and ENSP00000265724 is the protein identifier.
