Dear All I am a user of clinvar database. (ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pub/clinvar/vcf_GRCh37/clinvar_20181028.vcf.gz) which downloaded from ftp site, while I noted that these variations with high review status level can be searched in clinvar website with have high review status level. Some examples were listed as follows: 37861, 229653, et al. So, my question is which source can be used in my research and why these variations with high review status were being deleted in vcf file. Thanks for your help. Best Regards

Interesting, I have an older release of clinvar here (2017-10-29) and there these IDs are included, but not in the current release.

I would suggest you try to contact someone at clinvar and ask for clarification. Please report the answer here.

Thanks, I have contacted clinvar through E-mail and twitter message, while I didn't receive any responses, can you provide any useful information about clinvar contacting?

Go HERE and click on the Write to the Help Desk link, conveniently in small font and hidden away on the bottom-right. If you want a quicker response, I would suggest using a University / Academic email.
