Could you explaing the naming of t-rna gene symbol ? I have the following name : tRNA-Ala (AGC) 1-2
what is the meaning of the last two digits ?
As far as I can tell it appears to signify membership of a gene group. Those names appear to have come from the Genomic tRNA database.
