MrBayes splitting Tau and V between two sets of partitions -- arbitrarily?

Using MrBayes 3.2.6 for combined analysis (molecular, morphological) with fossil tips under the FBD process, an unexpected parameterization is occurring. The program is dividing the partitions into two sets which are provided with parameters for tree height and tree length. I have not specified this anywhere in the mrbayes block, and it appears to be the cause of convergence problems. I can provide screenshots and code if anyone wants to help solve this problem.

NOTE: Problem resolved, albeit mysteriously. There may have been a hidden record return in the bayes block which was deleted once a few lines had been deleted.
