Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Analysts & Research Scientists in Systems Immunology
The newly launched Allen Institute for Immunology is seeking outstanding individuals with deep expertise in bioinformatics and biostatistics, especially in high throughput single-cell technologies such as RNA-seq, ATAC-seq/CUT&RUN/DNase-seq, and mass-cytometry. In addition to deep understanding of at least one single-cell platform, ideal candidates will have expertise in related methods development, multi-omics data integration, or data visualization. We are especially interested in applicants with expertise in the integration of bulk and single-cell data from multiple platforms.
Candidates should have deep expertise in R and/or Python, and be comfortable using version control tools such as Git, and Unix shell scripting and batch processing. A background in, or familiarity with immuno-oncology and/or auto-immunity would be an advantage.
Analysts should have the equivalent of a master’s degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or a related topic, and at least 2-3 years of relevant post-graduation experience. Research Scientists should have a PhD or equivalent in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or a related topic, and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
