Is There Any Tool Available To Convert Vcf Format To Gatk Verbose Type Format?

Do you know of any tool that can convert VCF format for variant calls to GATK verbose style format (Start and stop coordinates with insertion or deletion prefixed by + or -) which is easier to read for indels.

VCF:            
---
1     978603  .       CCT     C

GATK Verbose:
--------
1     978603     978605    -CT

Annovar converts vcf's to something that looks a lot like that. You could try that.
