Hi, I am currently in the process of trying to find mutually exclusive SNPs in a subset of the dgrp data. I was able to make both bim and fam files for the new subset of lines but am unable to perform an analysis on the file because it says I need a .ped file. When I try to use a bfile command it also says that no .bed file exist but I cannot create one either. Does anyone know how to go from a .bim and .fam to a .ped or .bed file? Alternatively, anyone know a better program for dealing with this data, I am new to bioinformatics. Thank You Matt V
