shape complementarity of proteins

Hi, I am a newbie in protein protein docking. I want to find shape complementarity of two proteins. Using python molecular viewer, files containing information about vertices and faces (.vert and .face files ) are generated. But I don't understand how to use this information to find the the complementary regions. Somebody please help.

Hi sharon, I've no intention of closing your post as it is entirely on topic here, but I feel I should just tell you that protein structure questions don't tend to have the greatest number of experts on BioStars. You may want to continue your search for advice in the meantime, rather than waiting for an answer.

Hopefully someone will prove me wrong though :)
