I've been Google-ing around a a while and can only find references to the use of the McLachlan substitution matrix ... not the actual values in the matrix itself (and the original paper isn't electronically available).

Does anyone have a link to the actual values in the matrix?

Thanks,

Will

In case anyone else needs to find it. You can get it here: ftp://ftp.genome.jp/pub/db/community/aaindex/aaindex2 under the key: MCLA710101. There are a whole bunch of matrices there.

+1; aaindex is a great resource for matrices with biophysical and other values.
