How to perform GO annotation? Or assign GO ontology to list of genes?

I am trying to use WEGO plot but unable to generate input file which looks like this.

It is mentioned that output of interproscan can be used. However, it is xml file and the server doesnt read it. Can anyone please comment how to do so, if someone has done it already. Thanks

Blast2GO or as you mention InterPro2GO are the best (most used) appoaches

for the interpro one, use tsv as output format which is a tabulated file from which you can easily get your desired output
