Import fasta files from local machine into MAC terminal BFX server

How do I import fasta files from local MAC computer onto BFX server using the terminal, to analyze sequence in glimmer 3.02?

If you have an account on BFX (bioinformatics?) server then you can either scp (secure copy) the data over or use a graphical secure file transfer client like Cyberduck or FileZilla.
