Greetings,

I have a question concerning GO term annotation by BLAST2GO. I cannot find some enriched GO terms in the background b2g file, nor in any annotation output, how did they get into enrichment analysis? Sorry if I completely misunderstood how the fisher test for GO terms works. Thank you for your answers.

Best regards Jan R.

How did you do enrichment, with which package? It might be that your BLAST2GO annotation is older than the GO database that was used for enrichment analysis. The GO database is very dynamic and changes with every update. So please explain more about how you did the enrichment analysis.
