Hi Folks,

I would like to start doing RNA-seq assay, however, I realize that my department does not have Bioanalyzer equipment. What is your recommendation for testing RNA quality and size?

Thanks,

Hello mkh!

We believe that this post does not fit the main topic of this site.

Not bioinformatics-related. Consider asking at StackExchange Biology, Reddit, or SeqAnswers.

For this reason we have closed your question. This allows us to keep the site focused on the topics that the community can help with.

The newest Qubit (4.0) has a kit to test RINs, but the Qubit 4.0 itself is about ~ 2.500€. Maybe see if a lab nearby can run an RNA chip for you.

If you disagree please tell us why in a reply below, we'll be happy to talk about it.

Cheers!
