Hi
I have a question about additive effects in R. If you are to test the the additive effects of each QTL and proportion of variation explained.
I think that the code is: aov(lm(trait ~ QTL1))
If I run the aov then is my hypothesis is there is an additive effect between the QTL and the trait? So if it's significant then it confirms the association?
Are there additonal tests run ? (tukey ? or t-test)
Do you have any suggestions on how to test the variation?
Any advice will be helpful. Thanks
