Hi!

I'm doing a study about transcriptome variations in mutated genomes but to compare them I need a reference transcriptome of the tissue (e.g. muscle) does anyone knows a database from where I can download a "reference" transcriptome? Thanks!

Best regards,

Not sure if you can use GTEx portal or Illumina's body map 2.0 data.

Hi, You can search for NCBI SRA with the filtering of RNA-Seq, Human, and Muscle. Then download the SRA files matching your criteria. I am pretty hopeful that you will definitely get some muscle tissue samples.
