query on salmon installation

I have installed the trinity package using docker. All the packages for trinity get installed but even after installing and unpacking salmon ,its not working. Can anyone suggest a solution for my query?

I have installed salmon and its there in my system.But while searching for the installation command i have these error message dpkg-query: package 'salmon' is not installed

Is inside the docker environment and is the executable in PATH?

then set the PATH in ~/.bashrc
