what is fz.tgz file?

I downloaded a file in linuc from http://bacteria.ensembl.org/Lactobacillus_gasseri/Info/Index/. I got a file in form of fz.tgz . What is it? I searched din google. I only got how to extract .tgz file. I tried the same way using tar -xvzf, tar -xf, tar --extract none worked for this file. AM I doing any error / Or how to extract these kind of files ?I need fasata files from these.

A *.tgz file is commonly a TAR-Gziped file, you can uncompress with tar -xvzf but if you are getting an error could be the file is corrupted. What data do you want? The genomic data is located here: ftp://ftp.ensemblgenomes.org/pub/bacteria/release-46/fasta/bacteria_174_collection/lactobacillus_gasseri/dna/

Your link is saying this site can't be reached why? Btw I was using the link http://bacteria.ensembl.org/species.html earlier which was giving some .fz.tgz files first thenn gavve some html files.
