Hi How can I rank the genes of a gene expression matrix with the nearest neighbor or svm algorithm and extract the important genes from it?

1. Identify the problem and form a hypothesis
2. Identify the data you need to characterize the problem
3. Pick an algorithm that works best with the data to get to testing the hypothesis
