Hello dear, I have rna sequencing differentially expressed genes excel sheet from a published trial. Here is the link https://bristowlab.github.io/datafiles//RNA-Seq/RNA-Seq_All_genes_full_model_ANOVA.xlsx Given that the data in this excel sheet is already transformed, how to convert those data into raw accounts again. Thanks

short answer?: not I'm afraid.

best way forward would be to get a hold of the raw data and start from that.

why are you in need of the raw data btw? perhaps there are alternatives for the downstream analysis you plan to run?

Dear lieven, Those data compared the counts of 12 samples at baseline and the same 12 samples under a different condition. I need to compare 9 samples of the 12 samples at baseline against the remaining 3 samples also at base line. This is why I need the raw counts to make this comparison. Thanks

As he said you cannot revert transformed counts back to raw data. You can try and contact the authors what these values exactly are. Maybe they are suitable to feed into an analysis with limma. If not maybe they can provide you with a raw count matrix.
