NCBI.

Do you know the sequence of any of the genes within it? Do you know the definitive names of any of the gene symbols? Need somewhere to start.

The simplest/manual way would be to go to the NCBI genome from which that protein/gene derives (via BLAST if necessary). Download the full genome, open it up in a viewer like Artemis. You can then search within Artemis for the sequence/gene name, and see the gene in its genomic neighbourhood.

You can then 'zoom out', and select the relevant genes/stretch of bases of interest.

If you want to do this automatically, you're going to need to know the start and end indices of the operon before you can 'cut' it out.
