Attempting to shade a key variable in the enhanced volcano package

Has anyone come across this error before. My key variable is not being shaded and I get this error message:

Computation failed in stat_density2d(): missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed.

Any help would be great. Thank you.

I developed the package that you are using. Can you share a sample of your input data and also show the command that you are running for EnhancedVolcano()?
