Hi,

I am new to this bioinformatics and i have one doubt. Why we are only focusing 59 genes mentioned by ACMG for secondary or accidental findings? Why we are only reporting the variants in those 59 genes? Can anyone share me an article which can explain this? Or you guys also can answer if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Regards, Karthick

Hey, ethical issues, you report only clear actionable variants since a patient may prefer not to know about unclear or unactionable variants
