Hi

I have a metagenome dataset containing mostly Eukaryota. I know that MG-RAST is not capable of accurately predicting eukaryote genes, but I performed prediction with a separate tool (MetaEuk) and now have all the protein sequences. Can MG-RAST handle these and give reliable KEGG annotations?

Thanks!

Hi Tom,

Yes, you can go with the predicted proteins for the annotation/downstream analysis.
