findOverlapofPeaks discrepancy in peaklist vs Venn diagram

Why the number of non-overlapping peaks reported in the Venn diagram does not match the non-overlapping peaklists generated by 'findOverlapofPeaks' function in R?

For example:

                                    Peaks reported in Venn             Peaks reported in peaklist
Non-overlapping list A              4973                                                  4582
Non-overlapping list B              4531                                                  3991

Is it possible that the Venn is reporting the number of overlaps of peaks... meaning a single peak can overlap with multiple other peaks
