Is There A Way To Install Samtools V1.4-R985 In Cygwin?

Please forgive my ignorance for I am new to computer programming as well as next generation sequencing. I noticed a number of people, for example Dawnoflife, who figured out a way to install Samtools in Cygwin program. I was wondering if someone could please point me in the right direction that explains how to install Samtools in Cygwin for beginners such as myself. I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance. :)

May be it would be better to first try to compile samtools first by typing make under cygwin. Does that report any errors?

You will need to have a number of dependencies such as gcc and zlib installed with your cygwin, If you have those then you can just run make as Arun above mentioned.

To install the dependencies rerun cygwin.exe program and select these above (or select all) which sometimes is an easy way out.
