You can do a introductory course on RNA-seq data analysis.

Check this online course: http://diytranscriptomics.com/

Or this course: https://gtpb.github.io/ADER19F/

I think this can be a good start.

Have a look at RNA-seq analysis using Galaxy. It's quite useful for beginners to give a flavor of analysis steps. An advantage is that you may try out other types of omics data analysis as well using this platform.

Don't just read things. Find pipeline tutorials and work through them. Use galaxy if you can't get the software installed where you are easily.
