I recently annotated an assembly and would like to isolate any transcripts that fall under GO:0002376 (immune system process) to create an immunome. I looked at GO.obo but it seems like it'd take forever and a recursive program to create a hierarchical list of everything under a single GO term since it only gives its immediate child. How do I get a list of all GO terms (including children of children etc.) under parent GO term?

GO.db can do that, see that GOBPCHILDREN/GOMFCHILDREN/GOCCCHILDREN functions.
