Dear all,
Sorry, I have a problem with a very simple program, FASTQC. I double click on the "run_fastqc.bat" file, but it didn't work. I also tried to run the program via cmd windows, still didn't work. I have no problem with Linux but I would like to understand what is the problem of FASTQC on windows? Could you please share me your suggestion?

In general I would suggest using the windows subsystem for linux to run software on windows. Most software works and is actively maintained for linux, and not so much for windows.
Completely agree. I would like to see the graphical HTML report of FASTQC. But, at the moment, I just access to serve and haven't the possibility to transfer the HTML report from the server to see it in my own system.
If you use WSL you can still open the html reports. WSL was a great addition to windows.

yes, java version 8 was installed.
