I am looking for regions in GRCh38 that are novel compared to GRCh37. One way to do it would be to parse through the hg38ToHg19 chain file and look for such regions, but before doing that i want to check if this info is readily available in a parseable format like .bed etc. somewhere. thanks!

[UPDATE] The GRC https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/grc/human page has some regions listed as novel but it's unclear whether those regions are novel compared to the first patch of GRCh38 or last version of GRCh37.
