Tophat Junctions Bed File Strand Column

Hi Everyone

So when we use tophat(rna seq data) we get a junctions.bed file produced as a result.

Can someone explain me what does column6 i.e. the strand + and - mean here. I mean what does it mean, does it mean reads are aligned to + strand and same for - starnd.
