Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to speed up the annotation. I have a 1.6Gb genome with 11 chromosome-level scaffolds. I set Maker to split contigs into chunks of 1000000 length and I amusing 20 cores. Do you have an estimate for how long it will take to run this? and how maybe I could speed this up? I am worried I have a hard deadline in 2 months. I am using a transcriptome for the same species to inform ESTs Thank you!
