Hi everyone,
As I'm learning more about population genetics, I came about a question that concerns how to model allele frequency of a variant in one country/region using data from another country, by accounting for genetic drift, genetic distance, and bottleneck effect etc. It's more about different regions within a ancestrally homogenous population (e.g., within Europe) for which drift and migration has been studied to some extent, rather than between global populations.
I haven't been able to find the most relevant references that tackles this question, and would greatly appreciate any lead or suggestions. Thank you!
