Hisat2 / (ERR): hisat2-align exited with value 1

Hello I'm trying to use Hisat2 on WSL, and I used -wdp founding location of indexs (hg19 downloaded), fastq file and output.sam. But:

Warning: Could not open read file "/mnt/c/Users/.../trimmed_out.fastq" for reading; skipping...
Error: No input read files were valid
(ERR): hisat2-align exited with value 1

Error was clear originally so I assume once you addressed the issue the problem went way? If you did something else then please post that an answer to provide closure for this thread.
