The Cenik Lab at UT Austin is seeking motivated and ambitious postdoctoral researchers to study translation control. We have recently developed a ribosome profiling strategy that can be applied to ultra-low input samples. The applicant will be responsible for further optimizing the strategy to enable the first single cell measurements of ribosome occupancy and will collaborate with domain experts to apply these methods to address critical biological problems.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a recent PhD degree (within three years of start date) in relevant field (ex. Genetics, Genomics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology).
Applicants should have a strong background in high throughput sequencing approaches and molecular biology.
